Having a dedicated children’s playroom or multifunctional room can play a big part in the development of your children, it allows free creativity and let’s out there imagination also letting them take responsibility for there belongings. It also keeps their toys contained in one area.

🎨Let your children design there playroom, don’t be afraid to let them express themselves with colour(you can easily tone the colours down)

🎨Have separate zones for painting, reading etc

🎨Have a wall for their paintings(frame them, hang them on a line or even create wallpaper from them. This will allow them to be proud of themselves in the creations.

🎨Create a reading area by having beanbags or a teepee in the corner of the room.

🎨Have sensory boards, using abacus, bricks, balls etc.

🎨Keep all electrical appliances wall mounted

🎨Storage storage storage(you can never have too much)

🎨Have a chalk board for those creative moments

🎨Use easy wipe down flooring, I find rubber floors or even laminate are good( if using laminate make sure it’s watertight for those spillages)

Remember making a successful playroom is all about how easy it is to tidy up and get toys out, don’t make shelving too high as it needs to be easy to access.
