I must admit I do wish I did more travelling, there is just so many wonderful places out there to discover. Travelling is a big part of so many peoples life’s, and how can you go to these wonderful places without buying anything, but the thing is, as great as it is to buy and keep, what do you do with it when you get home!??

I think that showing off your travel finds is just fab,I have to admit I have bought things before and got it home, and just put it in a cupboard. So what’s the point in buying it in the first place.

If you are one of these people, then it’s time to change and show off those treasures.

Start with getting everything out that you want to display. This also gives you an opportunity to have a good sort out.

If you have collected maps over the years why not frame them in individual frames and group them together as a gallery within the hallway. This is a great way to showcase your travels as this is the thoroughfare to other rooms.

Group similar themed photos together, beaches, people, cities. Make a story journey with them. Create a collage/montage. Or even turn your favourite pics into wallpaper(see websites at bottom of the page)

My mother in law did this with our wedding pics😀

Create a visual story using deep set frames, or bell jars, group them into your favourite locations, favourite bars, restaurants.

My sister went to hestons fat duck restaurant recently, and she framed the menu, sweet bags etc. great keepsake😀

Turn your postcards into placemats by placing them together and laminating them for easy clean.

Organise your finds in location travel boxes, these would also make a lovely feature on a bookshelf or even as a side table.

Buy some clear baubles and add your finds into them and hang them on a Christmas tree.

You can even frame your wedding dress!!!
